Code of Conduct

RedSec is for learning security skills safely, legally, and without turning practice into harm.

Expected behavior

• Practice only in labs, CTFs, owned systems, or explicitly authorized scopes.
• Keep proofs minimal, reversible, and respectful of real users and data.
• Share knowledge without harassment, gatekeeping, or personal attacks.
• Credit sources, tools, writeups, and researchers when you build on their work.
• Report issues responsibly and follow the rules of each platform or program.

Not allowed

• Attacking systems without permission.
• Sharing stolen data, live credentials, malware, or instructions for harm.
• Targeting people, communities, or organizations outside an authorized scope.
• Using RedSec spaces to coordinate abuse, spam, fraud, or evasion.

How this is handled

Community maintainers may remove content, limit access, or escalate serious safety issues when behavior conflicts with this code. The goal is to keep the learning environment useful, respectful, and safe.
